Eckogram Entry 14:
1. Lift Broken or Left Broken - A broken elevator for a day or two is something that is tolerable for me, but a lift that is non-functional for close to five weeks? That is outrageous! I know that taking the stairs is a good form of exercise, but no one wants to take the stairs especially when you have a "Time-In" that you are chasing, right? "Hey, Building Management, stop the Cheapskate act and fix this lift will ya?"
2. The Original - Now, when I am craving for Instant Chow Mien/Stir-Fried Noodles, there is only one brand that comes to mind and that is Lucky Me! Pancit Canton. Since it was introduced to the Market in 1991, it has been a staple of our food stocks in the house - That is for a whopping 24 years. Ah, I could never imagine what life is if Monde Nissin has not conceived this Instant Noodle Miracle.
3. Cute Girl, Big Ribbon - Lately, my daughter has been making us put this big ribbon in her head. Well, I guess a Big Ribbon makes a girl look cute, ain't it right?
4. Are You Gonna Stay The Night? - Whenever my work schedule for the week is in the Graveyard Shift, I always pray to the high heavens that I be placed "on-Call" come Saturday night, so that I can at least be at home rather than working on a "Sabado Night." However, if lady luck does not side with me, I have to drag my arse and be a good employee. Are you gonna stay the night, you ask? Nope! May Pasok eh!
5. Ball In - Here is my daughter enjoying herself in a pool of colored balls. Ah, the joys of being a kid eh?! If you will ask me, I'd rather dive in a Swimming Pool than a pool of balls, if you know what I mean.
6. Summertime is Ice Cream Time - After starting the year with a surprisingly cold weather, for sure Summer will rear its head one way or another. In light of that, you know it is summer when you are already in the mall and you still feel the need to have that stop for an Ice Cream Cup or two. As you can see, it is evident with my "Two Ladies" here having some treats at D-Q!
7. S-Mug Shot - Since our little princess is already a "Three-nager", we have decided that we will enroll her for summer classes so that she can get the feel of going to school. One of her requirements for that is an ID photo so we went ahead and have one taken of her. I really doubt that we can get a decent one since it is hard eliciting a smile from Allison. To my surprise, we got this shot. Yah, I know, it is a "Smug" rather than a smile, but at least we got one worthy to be her ID photo. It could have been worse, you know.
8. Little Paris - Who says that you cannot get up close and personal with a 50mm lens? Here is one shot I did using the nifty-fifty; a very close up shot of my Eiffel Tower keychain.
9. Palm Sunday - Whenever Palm Sunday comes, we always make it a point that we attend the mass and get our palms blessed. While standing outside the church, the priest then started blessing the palms, I tried to take a snap of him, but alas, a little more height could have been helpful for me, and the priest was nowhere to be seen in my snap . Anyway, I was still able to get our palms blessed and I guess that is what matters most, right?
